A young woman with chronic migraine experiences the shifting stages of an attack; Prodrome; Aura; Attack; Postdrome. Painkiller is based on the animator’s lived experience, told through hand drawn animation utilising a combination of traditional, stop-motion and rotoscoped techniques.
